It was hard for me to rate this book because there were some moments when I really liked it, but some other times it was just ok for me. The beginning, for me, was the best part. I liked the tension there was between Remi and Jake, and how Remi resisted his attraction to Jake. But then, he suddenly gave in just like that. I would've preferred it if he struggled with it for a bit longer.
My biggest problem with the book though was that there was wayyyyyy too much sex. I felt like all they did was either have sex, think about sex or be aroused 24/7. It was constant, and it really got on my nerves. Whenever Jake and Remi were alone, that's all they did. I wanted to see their relationship under another angle. Plus, since I'm not a bdsm fan, I pretty much skimmed the sex scenes altogether.
On the other hand, I can't wait for Sterling and Rhys' story! I loved both characters a lot, and I think I'm going to be much more invested in their story.
